The Human Mind Perspective on Identities and Identification
In the 2nd month video in the Becoming Invincible Membership I talk about how we create an identity (or I should say multiple identities) and how as we move through the 3 perspectives we see how these identities take away our power, our freedom and our choices (they limit us).
This is a short excerpt from the month’s invincibility membership video.
In this months video, I suggest ways of exploring what identities we’ve created in childhood but never examined!
If we’re not aware of identities, then our identities make subconscious choices for us and often lead to conflict and disharmony.
We’re also super easy to manipulate!
But the human mind – the perspective that most in society holds about perspective is that identity is a good thing! It should be defended!
This is a great example therefore of how the mind (which created the identity) holds a belief to ensure it’s continued power in your life! The human mind created the identity – it doesn’t want you to release it1 It doesn’t want you to choose something different for yourself (that’s scary to the mind) – so it deliberately limits you to keep you safe and within it’s parameters!
But if you want peace, harmony, unity, love, kindness, compassion, equality and all the good stuff in life for ALL – then you’re going to have to start excavating your identities and letting them go. As we move into an invincibility perspective we see the limitations and conflict of identities and we start to release them, in favour of non-identification and just BEING instead.
