 The Shared Light Collective Pledge

I Pledge to enter the community with an open heart of service.

Asking, “what can I offer this community?”

It may be as simple as a kind heart, the hand of friendship, knowledge and wisdom, ideas, talents, your voice, your name (to a cause), community or business partnerships, or just your presence, curiosity and light.

No matter how big or small you perceive your contribution, it is all welcome, appreciated and needed. All contributions are valued equally.

But the starting point of this community is always, “What can I offer? How can I contribute?” This is the pledge.

It is not about seeing an opportunity to get something or benefit from others in the community. This spirit of sharing, giving, offering is intrinsic to this community.

Of course, the hope is that everyone involved in the community will benefit from participating in it. We hope that you form strong bonds, partnerships and impactful projects that enliven and empower you. But this is the reflection of what you offer first.

Everything you receive from this community,as in life, is a reflection of what you offer.

For too long humanity has asked, “how can I benefit from this? What can I get from this?” we would like to break this cycle of extraction and taking mindset from the Earth, our wider plant and animal family and our human family.

In the first instance, the pledge we invite you to make in this community, is

“How can I be of service to you, our planet, to life itself?”

With this pledge, I believe, that as a community we will be strong, empowered, loving, generous and impactful.

We hope you to discover for yourself the divine gift in this invitation, if not immediately, then one day.
